Trained at the Belfast Institute of Further & Higher Education, our brand owner studied a BTEC National Diploma in Beauty Therapy Sciences at 17. This course was intensive in the units of Dermatology, Microbiology, Anatomy and Physiology. This has given her an in-depth knowledge of the skin and its structures.  She then moved on to become a retail manager for a clothing chain company within Northern Ireland at the age of 20. At 28, she graduated with an HNC in business, and six months later, returned to the beauty industry and went on to open her own salon. Almost four years into her business opening and a larger new premise being constructed, Luxederma® Bioactív Skincare was born. After years of selling natural skincare, she decided to take the leap and create her own natural brand. She wanted to create a natural line, at a more affordable and sustainable price for the customer than what is available on the market today, as well as the potential for other salons to embark on their Luxederma® Bioactív journeys with their own clients.

Having struggled with acne her whole adult life, she always found it hard to find products that didn't break her out further or irritate her skin. She really had tried and tested them all. So when choosing the ingredients for Luxederma® Bioactív, she made sure to include only the best, premium ingredients combined to provide her clients with the highest quality skincare range. No toxins, no nasty additives, nor bulked out with unnecessary fillers.

This cosmeceutical range has been designed to target both problem skin and premature aging. The relevant extracts were selected to help with the skin conditions Jenna treated every day in her skin clinic.  She revised all products and ingredients as well as included new formulas in early 2021 to include our Bioactív Cleansing Gel to target the more problematic of skin types with great success, it is fast becoming our bestselling product of the year.
